Accident on a Vessel.
j By Telegraph—Press Association. Westport, last night. j At 5.35 p.m. on the 4th inst., when ! about 12 miles from Nelson, the Wainui sighted the barquentine St. Hilda flying an urgent signal. A boat was lowered, and took off W. Lang, the chief officer who had broken his arm the previous evening when leaving Wanganui. Dr Baldwin, a passenger on the Wainui, attended the 'sufferer, aqd on arrival a"s Westport this afternoon he was taken to the hospital.
