A Child Murderer.

London, Feb. 3. Brierre, who was sentenced to death at Chartres, France, for the murder of his five children, has had his sentence commuted to penal servitude for life. Many felt that the presiding Judge was unfair, while other petitioners emphasised the absence of a confession.
