(By Telegraph—Press Association.] Wellington, last night. At the .Supreme Court criminal sittings to-day, Jack Taiwhanga, a Maori, was found guilty of theft at Palmerston North, and remanded, for sentence.

Edward Charles Perris pleaded guilty to a charge of indecent assault on a girl at Foxtou, and was remanded for sentence. Bertie Grenville was convicted of theftof a bicyole at Palmerston North, and sentence was deferred.
