THE PREMIER ON TOUR.
PROCEEDING TO AUCKLAND.
[By Telegraph— Press Association.] New Plymouth, last night. The Premier and party passed through here to-night en route to Auckland, whence he proceeds, after seeing the contingent off, direct by the Tutanekai to Nelson to attend the Diamond Jubilee there. On arrival here Mr Seddon received a cable from the Imperial authorities stating that a large order for general produce, mostly oats, for South Africa would be placed in New Zealand. General Babington came on to Hawera with Mr Seddon and stayed there, where a banquet was being tendered to Major Bartlett. Both will proceed North tomorrow.
