RECHABITES.

A mjsktino of tho Gisborne Tent, Ho." 54 1.0. K., S.U., was held in the last evening, Bro. M. d. Nasmith (jut).), Chief Ruler, presiding. In connection with the secretaryship of the Juvenile Tent, it was resolved that the present system be abolished, and that in future the secretary of the Adult Tent be the secrotary of the Juveniles. Bro. A. Georgeson (the adult secretary) was appointed to act as the secretary for the Juvenile Tent. Bro. G. Goldsworthy was appointed Assistant Superintendent of the Juvenile Tent, in succession to Bro. Georgeson. A lot of routine business, including the passing of accounts, was also transacted. After the meeting a pleasant time was spent, several recitations, etc., being given. A meeting of the Ballanee Tent, No. 12, T.0.R., S.U., was also held last evening, Bro. J. Dods, Chief Ruler, presiding, when a large amount of business was transacted. The balance-sheet of tho Tent for the past quarter was presented and adopted. It showed the following position : —District funeral fund, receipts 5s 11.1-d, expenditure 5s lid; sick fund, receipts Xl3 2s Id, expenditure X 53 Os 9d ; contingent fund, receipts XlO IGs Old, expenditure XI Is (3d ; transfer fund, recoipts 9s 2d, expenditure nil. The total funds stood at: Sick fund XlO Is 4d, contingent fund X 9 14s 64d, transfer fund 9s 2d. Tho total number of members in good standing was twelve.
