Wedding Bells.

St. Andrew’s Church was the scene yesterday afternoon of a very gaily-dressed assembly, when the friends and relatives were present to witness the uniting in matrimony of Miss Katherine Stewart Skillioorn, youngest daughter of Mr A. Skillieorn, of Gisborne, to Mr Neil Alexander f Jlcy, sixth son of Mr T. Tvley, of Duuvdm. The church had been very nicely ut; orated for the occasion by th. menu -of the choir, of which Miss Ski ■ licorn v.ss a member. The H;v, J. <i. Paterson conducted the cerein ..,v. The bride, v, ho was given away by he, fathc, looked exceedingly pretty and charmimin a wiiile ivory silk, wearing the. .Li-> dox v.’icath and veil. She was accompanied, as bridesmaids, by Miss Susie Skillieorn (sister of the bride), Miss May Clark (cousin of the bride), Miss Bessie Higgins (niece of the bride), and Miss Dorothy Spence. Miss Skillicorn and Miss Clark, were very becomingly dressed in white figured muslin with blue trimmings, and wore white chiffon hats with bliie trimming, carrying handsome bouquet*, i'iiss Higgins and Miss Spence were prettily dressed in white silk, with hats to match. They each carried a choice basket of flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr E. Skillicorn as best man, with Mr J, Adair as the other groomsman. After the ceremony the party, who .vere greeted with showers of rice, were Iriven.to the residence of the bride’s parents, vliere about fifty'guests bad assembled to jartake of the wedding breakfast. Jolliieatioo then set in, and the guests worn mtertained in a generous manner by be host and hostess. The bridegroom's ireient to the bride was a handsome gold 1 angle, and he presented the bridesmaids 1 nth pretty gold brooches. The bride and ridfegrooin were the recipients of a very irge number of presents, amongst them eing a photograph of the staff of Messrs .dair Bros., where the bride was emloyed, the presentation of the gift being lade the evening previous. There was so a gift from her Sunday school class of photograph of her class, and also a pro , me of a sec of silver knives, spoons, and ngs from the members of the St, ndrew’s Christian Endeavor Society and e choir. The happy couple left for Tataiuri about 5 o'clock yesterday, at which aside resort they enjoy a short boneyoon. They leave for Otaki, their future ime, by the steamer on Sunday evening, r and Mrs Tyley have the well wishes a very large circle of friends for their j- 1 Sure happiness arid prosperity. “
