General Bruce Hamilton, bv a nffilit march against Botha, captured twentynine at Witbany. Block-houses constituting a parallelogram of 140 miles by 60, enclosing De \\ ot, are almost completed. Colonel Colenbrader captured seven of bteenkamp s men at Magliesburg, and unearthed twenty barrels of gunpowder and two hundred rounds of shrapnell. MCK NEW ZEALANDERS.

Tho Premier has been advised bv cable “°i ri that Corporal Kifnev and Invato William Cameron were dangerously ill ou the 18th and 19th mst.., the former from enteric fever. The decease from which Cameron was sutfertng was not stated. Both men belong to tho Sixth Contingent. same cable message also states that Sergeant IV. Moore, of the Seventh Contingent, was ill of enteric fever.
