The British Commissioner at Shanghai is amicably negotiating a revision of the commercial twenty with Sheng, appointed some time ago as Imperial Commissioner to negotiates treaties. He shows a reasonable and favorable spirit.
At the Krause trial it was stated that Brocksma supplied information regarding the concentration camps to be furnished in the Daily News. Judge Alverstone who sentenced the accused, said. Krause was morally guilty of murder ; that he used the weapons of the murderer against a political opponent.
St. Petersburg, Jan. 20. Russia is offering Austria aud Hungary commercial concessions in order that the three countries may unite in resisting the German tariff.
