TRIBUTE TO HIS STATESMANLIKE QUALITIES.

The City of London has resolved to present Mr Chamberlain, who is already a freeman of the city, with an address in a suitable gold box in recognition of his statesmanlike qualities and patriotism for the true interests of the Empire. Much enthusiasm was displayed.
