Various committees are very busily engaged in completing arrangements for Jubilee celebrations in the first week of February, and there is every indication that tli.'re will be a large number of visitors here.
Mr T. Humphries, Commissioner of Crown Lands who received a special vote, recognising his good servioes, at ilie late meeting of the Laud Board, was entertained at a social gathering to-night.
