BUSH FIRES.
MUCH DAMAGE DONE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, Dec. 29. Bush firos are general throughout the colony. Several houses and a number of tents were destroyed at Lawson. An immense area of grass was destroyed between Gunglagi and Junee. Shipping has been impeded by the smoke shrouding the coast. Useful rain has been falling in the city since noon.
