Dunedin, last night. .James ’Warnoek, a dairyman at Green Island, was lined -10 s and costs at the Police Court for selling milk without a license.
In the case of Nimmo and Blair v. the Collector of Customs, Judge Williams gave judgment for plaintiffs for a refund of .-£‘ss 12s paid as duty on a manure mixing machine, thus reversing the decision of the Customs Department that the article c-ame within the definition of machinery not otherwise enumerated, and was liable to 25 per cent. duty. The Customs Department refused to accept it as agricultural machinery.
