For Fatutahi, Tuesdays and Saturdays at 2 p.m., Thursdays at 1 p.m. For Waimata and Arakihi, Tuesday, at 1.30 p.m. For Kaiteratahi, Te Karaka, and Whatatutu, daily, at 10 a.in. For l'oututu, Wkakarau, Rakauroa, and Motu, Thursday, at 10 a.m. For Kanakanae, Mondays and Fridays, at 10 a.m. For Fakarae, Hauiti, and Tolago Bay, Mon days and Thursdays, at 0 a.m. For Tarewa, Morere, Nubaka, Opoutama (Malna), Wairoa, and Wharerata, Tuesdays, at 7 a.m. For lokumaru Bay, Waipiro Bay, Tuparou, Port Awanui, Kahukura (name changed), Knngitukiu, Te Aiaroa, aud Hick’s Bay, Thursuays, at ti a.m.
POSTAL HOLIDAYS. On Wednesday, :25th December,' and Ist January, the Gisborne Post Offne will be closed. All mails lor despatch on these days will be made jp at 7.50 p.m. on the evenings preceding. On Tuesday evening there will be a counter delivery ol town letters or.y, from 7 to 8 p.m. On 26th December the office will be open in all branches from 6 to 10 a .in Mails for despatch during the day ill be made up at 111 a.m. One complete delivery will be'made by letter carriers, beginning at 8 a.m. On Christmas Day the Telegraph Office will be open from 9 a.m. to 19 a.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8 pan., and on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 pan. to midnight. The Telephone Exchange will lie ojeu on Christmas Day from 9 to 10 a.m. only. On the other holidays the usual hours will Ire observed. Country offices in the Gisborne district will observe a close holiday on Christmas and New Year’s Day, iut will be open from 9 to 10 a.m. an Boxing Day. G. W. SAMPSON, Chief Postmaster.
