RETURN OF MR T. K. SIDEY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, last night. The poll for the Caversham seat took place to-day. Despite the steady rain which fell polling was large. The following were the results :

The last three forfeit their deposit. There was a large crowd at the declaration of the poll, but none of the candidates got a good hearing. Earnshaw had the worst reception, and some over-ripe eggs were thrown at him. Sidey’s majority was 105.
