Athletic Union.

(By Telegraph —Press Association. Auckland, last night. A conference of the board of control of the Amateur Athletic Union of Australasia was held to-night, delegates from tho four affiliated Associations being in attendance. Messrs* R. Coombes (President) and E. S. Marks (Secretary>nd Treasurer) were unanimously re-elected. Mr Marks 6tated that the affiliation of the Union with the governing bodies of England und American would probably soon be an accompished fact. Sydney was fixed as headquarters for the incoming term. The question of affiliation with the International Athletic Union was left in the hands of the executive pending further information.
