App 45, Mackay 6S, Wilson IT (including two fivers oil Braund), were the c-hiit scorers. Bowling analysis : Braund, ti wickets for 96, Gunn 4 for 54. Barnes 8 for 47. England’s second innings closed for 216. Jones 25, McUahey 24, Jessop So ing four sixers,, three fives, and seven tourers) were the chief scorers. Newcastle in their second innings had no wickets down for 7.'!. Montgomery scored 31 and Ripon 35.
