The wheat market is steady. American and Continental are rather dearer. Cargoes are firm ; 11,000 quarters of South: Australian December-January shipment’ sold at 30s. Tho official estimato of th& British wheat crop is 52,547,602 bushels.

Butter is dull. Colonial is neglected at 106 s to 110 s. Danish is firm, but unchanged in price.

The sugar markot is quiet. German, 7s lid ; first marks, 8s 10jd. Tin is dull of sale. Spot, £ll2 ss; three months, unquoted.

Copper, spot, £SB; three months, £57 10s. Pig iron, 55s 9d. Lead, £lO 16s 3d ; spelter, £l6 8s 9d, The Bradford wool market is quiet. Common sixties are at 18;] d ; super, 19J'tf. The London sales were spirited, with a general hardening tendency.
