Lord Methuen’s latest operations in tho north-west resulted in the capture of Sfi Boors. The Remington Guides killed several, including Field-Cornet Klopper. Northwards of Bloemfontein Klliott wounded ten, including Field-Cornet Xadin. Thirteen elsewhere in Orange were captured and 13 in Cape Colony. Krause has been remanded to the twelfth. Witness proved the chief point in counsel’s opening statement of October Bth. _ The original letters were identified as Krause’s. Forster, repeating his evidence, gave his reason for the belief that the threats were levelled at himself.
