By Tchgraph—Press Association—Copyright London, Dec. 3. Colonel Delisle surprised a convoy in Lindley district, capturing ten .Boers, 2000 cattle, and 30 waggons. The Military Court at Ondshoorn convicted Scheman, a member of the Cape Assembly, of allowing his house to fall into the hands of the enemy and failing to report the presence of the enemy on his farm.
Boer agents on the Continent are distributing medals inscribed Bas Angleterro. An agitation has started in Holland in favor of settling Boer women and children in concentration camps in Holland. The Government believes tiiat Great Britain would not object, but hesitate owing to tho expense.
London, Dec. 4. Colonel Copper is organising tho Transvaal volunteers. It is expected that tho strength will be ten thousand, and ultimately they will supersede tho constubularv.
Botha, with 1800 men, is at Kliptafel. He is anxious to fight, but tho men refuse.
Lord Kitchener's despatches mention Captain Simpson, of the Seventh New Zealanders, and Lieutenant Quintal, of the Now South Wales Bushmen, as having greatly distinguished themselves during the night capture of Spanderberg laager, Durhonin Spruit ; and Tudor, Sixth New Zealanders, for great gallantry in holding a position at Calpon ltivor for three hours against fifty of tho enemy, with twelve men. . Lieutenant Ceseey, of Queensland, is mentioned on tho same occasion. Major Andrews, for handling troops well in action at Mokaridriff; Captain Knight, for excellent service commanding detached troops at Orange ; Private Bargent, for the brave rescue of a comrade under heavy fire at Bastards Drift. All belong to tho Sixth Now Zea-
land Mounteds. Lieutenant Moflit, Third New South Wales Mounted, is mentioned
for gallant, dashing conduct at Val liivor, capturing fifteen Boors. Sergt.-Major Lockett, of the Sovonth Now Zoalanders, has boeu awarded tho Distinguished Conduct medal ior the gallant rescue of a prisoner at Losberg, losing an arm in consequence of a wound he received. Tho Dartnell Imperial Light Horse surprised and captured 24 Boers at liarrismith, including Cornet Lyon, active leader, and Captain Pretorius, also 800 cattle and 150,horse.°, Lioutonant Haraor, of the New Zealand Mounteds, has sailed for England.
