Wellington, last night. At the annual mooting of the Wesleyan District Synod, tho ltov. G. Bond was elected representative at the Conference. A resolution was passed affirming the desirability of tho office of connectional secretary being discontinued, and that a competent accountant should bo appointed secretary of the church building loan fund and fire insurance fund.
