SHIPPING.

The Union Company’s s.s. Ornaperc (Captain Gregory) arrived from Westport early yesterday morning. Owing to the heavy sea the cargo, 300 tons of coal for Messrs Nelson Bros., could not bo lightered. Tho steamer leaves for Coast ports to-day. Passengers: Mrs Martin; Messrs Tutua and Wi Pira. Messrs Itichardson and Co.'s s.s. Fanny (Captain Nelson) arrived from Napier early yesterday morning. The steamer had heltered at Wbangawai. Cargo : 28,'280ft t'liber and 70 packages sundries. The Fanny returns to Napier this evening, but loads wool on the coast on tho way down. The Omaporo is expected to load about 1000 bales of wool on the coast during the week. UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS.

Saturday.—Mararoa arrives from South early, and leaves for Auckland and Sydney. First launch 0 a.m., last 10 ajn.
