TENDERS CALLED FUR SUPI’LA OF MEAT.

'By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Brisbane, Nov. 22. Some time the Premier represented to Lord Kitchener that the meat companies of Queensland were able to supply the army of South Africa at prices under thoso which the Imperial Government wore then paying. A reply has been received from the war authorities, asking Government to advertise in the Australian papers calling tenders for a supply of meat to South Africa for twelve months. Tenders close on January Pith next.
