(}3y Telegraph—Press Association.) Wanganui, last night. Tho weather was delightful for people’s day at tho Show. Tho attendance _is fully up to tho anticipated record, which is estimated at 10,000. The Premier and party and Sir Joseph Ward are amongst those present. aluskotrv was adjudged champion thoroughbred "entire, and Aquatic champion mare. Air J. T. Sinclair secuicd tho championship of English setter dogs, Mr J. 0. Batchelor the championship for Eomuey Marsh ewo and lamb, and Mr B. Brewer for Leicester rams. Blenheim, last night. The attendance at the Marlborough A. and P. Association's Show yesterday was the largest over seen on the grounds, and the gathering is regarded as of historic importance in the annals of the province. The gate takings amount to ,£lO4, and it is estimated that over 3000 people were on tho grounds. The annual dinner was held last night and was an unprecedented success. It was attended by n-nout 100 people. _ Amongst the chief speakers wore the Hen. C. H. Mills, Mr John Holmes, and' Mr Bisset, agrieuliCkl editor of the Canterbury Times, and tho proceedings were of more than ordinary interest.
