PROGRAMME —Inner Grounds : Girls’ and Boye’ Races, Sack Races, eto., etc.; Rounders, Swings, Driving the Nail, Threading the Needle, Aunt Sally, Lucky Tub, Refreshment Stall, Afternoon Tea Stall, From 3.30 to 4.30 p.m., in the Football Ground (by the kind permission of Captain Tucker), under Captain Winter: Tilting at the Ring, Lemon Cutting, Tent Pegging, Polo Pony Ball Race, Flag Race, Gretna Green Race, Thread Needle Race (all necessaries provided). Best Decorated Bicycle (ladies), entrance Is; first and second prizes. The same (gentlemen), entrance Is; prize. Best Decorated Pram or Go-cart, entranoe Is. Pea Rilie Shooting on the banks of the iVaikanae, under the supervision of Mr G. Rumphreys. TEA FROM 5 TO G. 30 p.m. 7 to 8 p.m.—Amusements, Rounders, Swings, Christmas Tree, Swinging Boat. 8 to 10 p.m.—The City Band will play selections for the entertainment of the visitors. 10 p.m. —“ God Save the King.” R.B.—General Entrance for Horses and Vehicles; Mrs Humphreys’ Gate, Carnarvon street. Visitors on foot may enter by the Football Ground entrance, Cobden street. Visitors are requested to provide themselves with tickets eitner at the gate or beforehand, which may be inspected by the Committee at any time, All horses and vehioles must be handed over to the Caretaker, who will place them in a secure paddock at a charge of 6d per horse. Admission: Adults (to view all sports, etc., from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., including tea at 5 p.m.), 2s per head; families of four adults and over, Is 6d per head; children from 6 to 15 years, Is per head ; under, free.
