BOWLING.
Champion singles were being played on the green yesterday afternoon. In tho match Pons'ford v. Bright, the latter went off with a big lead, but Ponsford overtook and beat him. In the game Ferris v. Wallace the former won. This afternoon another match for the pennant will bo played, Kaiti and Whataupoko trying conclusions. The scores at present are: Gisborne 72 points, W hataupoko 02, Kaiti 21.
