The crew of a Dutch fishing boat, confining the captain in a cabin, pretended they wero in distress. A Ramsgate smack came to their assistance. The Dutchmen boarded tho English boat, shouting, “ Long live tho Boers,” and wounded several of the English. They ultimately allowed the smack to proceed to Ostend.
