HOW A CRIME WAS SHEETED HOME. By telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Wanganui, last night. The discovery of a stolen plant of money through the medium of a dream was told at the local Court to-day. A man named G. Thurston was arrested on the 12th inst., charged with stealing .£ls from a boarder at the Criterion Boarding House. No trace of the money could bo found, but on the 14th the man to whom the [money belonged told the Sergeant that he had dreamt that he saw Thurston plant the money on a spot beneath the town bridge. Prisoner was interviewed, confessed the theft, was taken to the spot, and most of the money was recovered. Accused pleaded guilty, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
