AUCKLAND AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY. [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Auckland, last night. At the annual conference of the Auckland Agricultural Society resolutions were carried in favor of Federal Agricultural Societies, more vigorous settlement of Crown lands in Auckland district-, reduction of railway and shipping freights on wool, and the establishment of a school of agriculture near Auckland. It was also resolved that a plant be erected on tho Auckland wharf for the sterilisation of imported bones, so as to do away with the danger of anthrax.
