Sir Hector Macdonald had an enthusiastic reception. The Mayor, on behalf of the citizens, welcomed him to the Town Hall, where there was a largo gathering. The Highland Society took a prominent part in the proceedings. Sir Hector Macdonald is a guest of the LieutenantGovernor.
