STATE BANK.
ADDRESS BY MR ELL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. New Plymouth, last night. Mr Ell, M.ILK,, addressed a fairly large public meeting to-night on the subject of a State bank and currency. lie received a voto of thanks, and the following resolution was passed : *' That in the opinion of this meeting the question of establishing a State bank is worthy of the careful consideration of the Government of this colony.”
