In tho Chamber of Deputies an interpellation moved by M. Marcel Sornbat, Radical Deputy for the Seiue, with a view to dealing effectively with the Porte, that Franco should seek an agreement with the Powers on behalf of Armenia, was negatived by 334 to 275.

The Chamber by 305 to 77 approved of M. Deleasse’s statement that the Government, in face of tho Porte's had faith, were determined to energetically enforce respect of the rights and interests of France.
