London, Oct. 30. ilis Majesty the King has presented Mrs Huddart. widow of the late Mr James Huddart, with the Conspicuous Service Cross awarded to her late son, Midshipman Huddart, for gallantry at Crass pan. On the 25th Colonel I'yng surprised the Stainelberg commando, and captured 22, including Field-Cornets Stamelberg and Omslimzen.
London, Oct. 31. Acceding to Mr E. O. Jellicoe’s petition His Majesty the King releases on January Itth Trooper Tasker, a New Zealander sentenced to throe years in July for sleeping at his post. Fortescue encountered Miller's commando on the 27th at North Belmoral. There was a running tight all day. Four Boers were killed, and 54 taken prisoners. Two Yryberg rebels have been executed, and nineteen have boon sentenced to heavy terms of imprisonment.
