SUICIDE AT TOLAGO.
In tr.e huso, about eight miies from Tolngo Bay, a bushfaller named Charles Fry yesterday committed suicide by cutting h-s throat. It i.s stated that the onfortunes man had been down at the Gisborne races last week, where he was drinking heavily. On bis return to his work at To ago, he was noticed by his two mutes to be queer in his mind, and they decided to bring him out of tho bush to Gisborne for treatment. While they were getting the horses, the deceased committed tho fatal deed. He belonged to Auckland, where his people reside. There is at present no .Justice ol the Peace at Tolago. and Captain Chrisp goes up from Gisborne to-day to hold the inquest, which will take place this evening.
