The Minister d Education moved to remove the third reading of toe Conciliation and Arbitraiion Bill from second place on the orderpaper to the thirteenth, on the ground that he had not had time to sc-c the print if the Bill as amendc-u and to confer will Cabinet. The Jions. Shrinski and Pinkerton said that if the Minister would not go on with the Bill .-onic-ona else would. On division it was decided by 20 to 13 to place tiie f ill eighth on the Ordc-r Paper. The Minister subsequently agreed to make the Jiiil first order of the day for Thursday. The Local Bodies Goldfields PublicWorks and Loins Bill, Pariora Native Reserves Bill, Old Ago Pension Bill, ; Public School Tjachers’ Salaries Bill, and j Coal Mines Act Amendment Bill were read a second time. The Maori Council I Act Amendment Bill arid Incidence j Further Amendment Bill passed the j final stages.
