By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, Oet 25. A squadron surrounding the women’s laager in the Ilarrismith district secured thirty families, including sixteen armed Boers. A prominent Boer raider has been banished for life for treason and murder. Ho also participated in the abortive attack on the town of Richmond. Another Boer named Pavel has been trued £SOO at Gcaafreinet, and sentenced to two vears’ imprisonment for failing to deliver fodder and possessing a rillo. The imprisonment was subsequently remitted. London, Oet. 26. The British swept Babauango and Uuhlaztz.e districts clear of the enemy. Sergt. E. A. Porter, formerly of the Fifth New Zealand Riders, now of the Seventh New Zealand Mounted, lias been dangerously wounded at Orangedale. The casualties at Paardeplaats, include Captain Hugo 11. Henry, of the Seventh New Zealand Contingent, somewhat severely shot in the thigh.
