The House met at 2.30 p.m. Tiie Goldfields ami -Mines Committee referred to the Government two schemes bv A. Harris ami 1. W. Walker to develop the deep levels of the Thames gold holds. The whole afternoon was occupied with local Bills. EVENING SITTING. The House resumed at 7.30. A Bili authorising Government to raise a loan on account of public works and land settlement was introduced by Governor's message an I read a first time. Mt Seddon said he proposed to take the debate on the i'nolle Works Statement on Monday night. Tiie Pariroa Native lieserve Bill lias passed the final stages. The Coal -Mines Act Amendment Bill passed tiie linai stages.
