NINETY-NINE MILLION COLLARS TO BE EXPENDED.
Bv Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Washington. Oct. Is. The naval estimates for 1908 are on a large scale, and total ninety-nine million dollars. Provision is made for the construction of three battleships and two armored cruisers. It is intended to spend twenty million dollars ou docks ami shipyards. imperialistic newspapers denounce the naval programme.
