Melbourne Cup: Ten to 1 Australian Colors, 12 to 1 Hautvillicrs and Haymaker. Sequence galloped half a mile in a tick over f>l secs. For the Caulfield Cup Hymettus is now favorite after being backed to some extent. He left off at 1U to 1. George Frederick receded, 100 to 8 being freely offered against him. Nothing else is supported. There is plenty of money offered against Graspan. Ampler is quoted at 100 to 7.
