COL. POLE-PENTON.
By Telegraph —Press Association. Wellington, last night. It was stated a few days ago that Col. 1 , ,v.Benton was going to South Africa to take command of the Sixth Contingent. Col. Benton to-day said that he is not qoing to the front.
