NEW ZEALAND.
[By Telegraph Press Association.] Wellington, last night. All the volunteer corps in the colony are now armed with Lee-Enfield magazine rifles. The dispute between the Union Steamship Company and the Cooks and Stewards’ Union has been settled amicably, as tho result of a conference, and was to-day withdrawn from the jurisdiction of tho Conciliation Board.
