50,000 PERSONS ATTEND FUNERAL

By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, Sept. 24. The Cobra sank in seven fathoms of water. There was no rock near.

It is now suggested that the disaster was due to the collapse of the vessel. Fifty thousand persons attended the funeral of tho victims at Grimsby.

The officers and bluejackets of the French gunboat Ibis spontaneously attended, which was warmly appreciated.
