No Servant Need Apply.
London, -July 27. - Wanted, a lady to groom and take tare of a small pony and to assist in the housework of a small house in the country. The cook is a lady, and no servants are kept. Only gentlewomen need write. This advertisement in a daily newspaper is the climax of the demand for “lady help." in consequence of the difficulty of getting good domestic servants in England. Lady cooks and lady scullery maids are common, and apparently lady grooms and lady coachmen are likely to become so.
