The quantity of wheat and Hour uHoat for tho United Kingdom is 2,390,000 quarters, mid for tlio Continent 1,825,000 quarters. Shares are unchanged. At the tallow sales IGOO casks woro offered and 1425 sold. Fine mutton is at 325; medium 295; lino beef 31s Oil; medium 28s lid.

London, Sept. 18. The wool sales are animated. Tho opening rates were maintained. The American visible supply of wheat is 44,770,000 bushels.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company have received tho following London cablegram, dated tho 18th September : —“Wool: The salos opened at an average advance of about 7,1 percent on last sales closing rates for merino, and about 5 per cent for fine crossbred and medium crossbred ; coarse crossbred market firmer. Competition by both Home and foreign buyers is active, and their attendance good.’’
