GISBORNE ROWING CLUB.

The annual meeting of the Gisborne Rowing Club was held at the Masonic Hotel last evening, Mr A. D. Robinson (captain) being in the chair. The annual report was read by the Secretary (Mr Dod), and the balancesheet by the assistant treasurer, Mr Hansen.

The Chairman moved the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, and in doing so congratulated the Club on the improved financial position, there being, in addition to the other valuable assets, a credit balance at the bank.

Mr H. Bright seconded the motion, which was carried. The following new members were elected: Messrs H. Hill, J. Quinn, W. Driller, and F. Wakelin, and it was stated that some new names would also be submitted to a committee meeting during the week.

On the motion of the Chairman, seconded by Mr C. Adair, Mr A. F. Kennedy was re-elected President. The following vice-Presidents were elected : Messrs J. A. Harding, A. Dewing, W. Webb, W. A. Barton, F. Cramond, and Captain Kennedy. On the motion of Mr Adair, seconded by Mr G. Bnscke, Mr Robinson was unanimously re-elected Captain.

On the motion of Mr Bright, seconded by Mr Adair, Mr H. E. Dod was elected viee-Captain. Mr L. B. Sherriff being unable to give the time necessary for the position of treasurer, Mr 0. Hansen was elected to that position, and Mr Sherrill' was elected assistant treasurer.

On the motion of Mr Dod, Mr H. E. Bright was elected .secretary. The following committee were elected : Messrs 11. DeCosta, F. Muir, C. Adair, W. Millar, Boyds, and Colebourne.

Messrs Bain and R. Robertson were elected auditors.
