Chamber of Commerce.

(To the Editor of the Times.) Sir, — I was interested in reading your report of the Chamber of Commerce, but as a Borough ratepayer I would like to ask by what right the Chamber is installed at the Council offices. Apparently, all and sundry are to be invited to the Council office to inspect Parliamentary Bills. That sounds rather rich. Who pavs for the gas burnt by the Chamber ? Aud v,ffio is tq pay for the clerical attendance in the day time. —I am, etc., HvrePAYER.
