Police and Witnesses.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Invercargill, last night. Yt tho Supreme Court, at the conclusion of the calendar, Judge Deniston again referred to tho police method of questioning persons suspected of an offence. Judge Williams’ remarks on a similar point in the Uredner case at Dunedin were quoted, and His Honor said ho would confer with his learned brother on the subject on which ho had always understood they were agreed.
