The following telegram wa-s received yesterday by the Times, from UpotiJri: — “ The anthrax cases here are confined to one five-acre break of turnips in the centre of a 2000-acre block, The last case occurred over four weeks ago. and no more is expected, The fear of the disease spreading has been quite allayed hero by the opinion of the Government Yets. The nature of the disease renders it impossible for its introduction to your district bystock arriving from the Bay of Plenty overland, — Chapman, President Pastoral Association,''
