By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, Sept. 6. Arabi Pasha has sailed from Ceylon on his return to Egypt, under the terms of his recent pardon. The prospectus of the New South Wales loan lias been issued. The price has been fixed at 94. The Bank of Australasia has declared a dividend of 10 per cent. The sum of 1125,000 will be applied to writing down the valuo of consols in the reserve fund ; £oo,ooo will be added to the reserve, .610,000 wiped off the Adelaide bank premises account, and .£14,000 carried forward. Lieutenant-General Sir Kelly Kenny has been appointed Adjutant-General to the Forces, in succession to Sir Evelyn Wood. The training of carrier pigeons for army purposes has been relinquished, those kept at Aldershot having been sold by auction. St. Petersburg, Sept. 6. The Russian Government are spending fifteen million sterling in the purchase of grain to relieve the peasantry in the western and southern provinces. Now' York, Sept. 0. Five hundred steel trade strikers have resumed work at McKee's Port. Berlin, Sept. 6. The German War Office has notified Hickel that his services will not he renewed. Similar notifications were made to throe oflicors whose evidence favored Hickel in connection with the Ivrosigk case.
