PRECAUTIONS IN SYDNEY.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, Sept. 6. A deputation of leading doctors havo secured the Town Hall for the purpose of holding a public meeting to urge upon the Government the immediate establishment of a hospital for the treatment of advanced eases of phthsis. The City Council are taking precautions to prevent the spread of the disease by checking expectoration in the streets and disinfecting houses where patients have died.
