STARTLING DEMAND OF THE COMPOSITORS.

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Wellington, last night.

Hearing of the typographical dispute was concluded before the Conciliation Hoard to-day, and the award is now being considered. The demand of the Union that the whole newspaper should bo handed over to the piece hands, who should he allowed to charge on hie advertisements set in the jobbing room, was resisted by the employers to the end. The Union asked that all country offices should he brought under the award.
